Surin

Elves from Eldanarë crossed the sea west and "settled the Surin coast and islands, where their numbers grew". The name never appears in the books. It is linked only through Shen of the Moonlit Serenity, whom the family tree calls "Shen Surin".

• About 220,000 people: 130,000 elves and 90,000 humans. It is "a fleet more than an army", and one of the grain suppliers Luna depends on. At the Fall it sent about 60 ships and 3,000 marines.
• Surin is a distant backdrop only. There are no plans to play there, and it appears only in areas that can see it.
• Open: its government, its harbour city and that city's name, its architecture brief (the atlas: "Surin architecture requires its own brief"), its faith, and its stance towards Luna.
