Sister Celise works where sanctity meets laundry water. She knows exactly how much blood doctrine produces and how often holy men expect women to scrub it clean.
In The Channeler
Sister Celise works in the laundry vaults beneath Luna's Lower Sanctum, a dry, unimpressed woman in a damp apron. She caught Vael and Maerin hiding there from patrols and set them to rinsing tubs, then quietly told them that Nyssa and two companions had come through the linen chute with a route-cloth, and where they were hiding, warning them not to bring Sanctum brothers into her laundry. She was among those who reached the Festival court at the end, blood on her apron.

After the books
Quietly aids the prisoners and survives the Lower Sanctum exposure. Celise survives by choosing practical mercy over obedient blindness when the Lower Sanctum begins to crack open.
