Zenon, the Grail Bard

A travelling bard called the Grail Bard, also known as Merlin. Most think him a little mad. In truth he is a demigod who remembers the past, one of the only few living beings in Luna who can. He narrates the in-game telling of the legend of King Artorin, the Oathdrawer.

Speech and manner

• Speaks in cryptic rhymes and fragmented information: "I can tell you a little story, / Leading to a greater glory..."
• His long life has made his communication unnatural to the living of this age.
• Loves to talk of his scrolls and ancient books, Avalon, "the story", gems and metamorphosis.

Life

• A traveller on his own pilgrimage, delivering his teachings across the world.
• Writes his own books and scrolls, covered in shapes and scribbles.

Open

• Cut-out look: wide-brimmed pointed hat, long grey hair and beard, earth-brown robe, gnarled staff with a gem in the knot, scribbled book and scrolls, small gold cup, eyes that glow faintly when he remembers.
