A warding verse of Old Speak. It raises a ward around the speaker that shields everyone inside from poison and plague.
Effect
- A ward 2.5 m across that lasts 12 seconds.
- Blocks Poison and Plague build-up for those inside.
- Absorbs 30% of Ink damage.
- Holds 4 layers, plus one more for every 10 Invocation.

It is the first verse the player learns, after the oath in the graveyard.
