Orra is one of the children whose safety must not be exchanged for a clean strategy.
In The Godless Priest
Orra is Hess Marrow's youngest child, about four years old, often fevered and asleep through the worst events. In the nursery she drew a black "rule writer" outside her mother's house and said she had seen it before Hess fell ill, evidence that the route was delivered from outside. When an altered rule claimed to speak for her, she woke and said only "Quiet", and the bells stopped. In the refuge she called the relic crates boxes. When the army left, Crowbrook let her sleep through the bells.
