Sorna's strength is loyal and practical: she carries Dagna's teaching into Luna's streets.
In The Highlander
Sorna Wolfmere is a young Wolfmere warrior who trained under Dagna for a winter and bears a scar from what she calls an educational misunderstanding.
She was in Luna when Dagna died. Eira met her there among Highlanders who had come south for the tournament, and Sorna read Dagna's death in Eira's face before a word was said. She walked with Eira into the crowds, led her to the champion wall where Dagna had secretly paid for Ironvale's name to be painted, and added a small wolf tooth beside it. She stood with Eira through the night the sky tore over the Lightspire, moving crowds like a road-warden, pulling a child from under a fountain and smearing her own blood across a possessed man's mask while demanding his name. The book leaves her in Luna, bandaged and grieving, gathering the other Highlanders in the city.
